刺蝟喵的刺，不刺

最近不知怎麼著，腦子突然一直播放電影「第三者」(Wicker Park)的片尾曲，影片最終的影像，喬許哈奈特排除萬難終於在機場找到他所愛真正的Lisa，兩個人在機場相擁的慢動作畫面，Coldplay的the scientist就在這時候響起。令人動容，我也很愛這部片。

他們的Viva La Vida也棒透了，「Viva La Vida」源自西班牙文，也是Live the Life的意思，有為生命祝福、活在當下等含意。
該專輯封面是德拉克洛瓦創作，描述法國大革命，提倡自由、平等、博愛的時代背景。我上藝術史的時候有看過這幅畫，不過沒有聽過這個畫家XD。

〈Viva laVida〉這首歌很像〈Yes〉，它扮演的是別的角色，而專輯封面的設計概念就是從這首歌來的，它跟〈Lost!〉可以並列為這張專輯的兩大基礎，我們最想現場演唱這首歌，因為它最後有段很適合大家一起唱，不曉得是看了什麼東西，可能是看了【紅花俠The Scarlet Pimpernel】吧，我不記得了，反正概念就是個搞砸了的國王，白癡也知道這首歌在講什麼，這個世上有很多人當領導者當了一段時間，最後他們發現自己什麼也沒做，人民才會群起衝入宮殿(紅衫軍?XD)，這首歌講的是革命群眾敲著門的最後那十分鐘，那時候他們心裡在想些什麼，每次想到這首歌，我的腦海就會浮現敲門的畫面。

這首歌並不好做，它經歷過幾次轉變，但我很滿意最後的結果。

Will Champion
我認為Chris寫的〈Viva LaVida〉歌詞是我有史以來最喜歡的歌詞，因為它很能引起大家的共鳴，這首歌跟Chris的歌聲象徵著這張專輯的精神，我們每次都說自己要勇敢做決定，跳脫酷玩樂團以往的風格，不要總是了無新意，每次都如出一轍，就像Guy說的，這首歌歷經過幾次改變，有幾次聽來略顯保守，我們認為要讓它突出，最好的方法就是刪掉所有伴奏，只留下弦樂跟鋼琴，另外就是貝斯鼓跟鈴鐺，不要加些有的沒的，讓這首歌有喘息的空間。
